Rebuild Relief X Clean Up Australia Day: Making a Difference, One Community at a Time

Updated: Oct 10

Watch the recap of our Clean Up Australia Day, March 3rd 2024

At Rebuild Relief, we believe in making a positive impact on both our communities and the environment. That’s why we were excited to announce our participation in Clean Up Australia Day, an initiative aimed at mobilising communities to improve and conserve our environment. By joining forces with this nationwide effort, we took proactive steps to give back to the communities we served and contributed to a cleaner, healthier planet.

Why Clean Up Australia Day Matters:

Clean Up Australia Day isn't just another event—it's a movement that inspires and empowers individuals and communities to take action against litter and waste. With millions of Australians participating over the past three decades, this initiative has become a beacon of environmental stewardship and community engagement. By getting involved, we're not only cleaning up our neighbourhoods but also raising awareness about the importance of waste reduction and sustainability.

Our Commitment to Environmental Conservation:

As a company that values sustainability and corporate responsibility, Rebuild Relief is committed to making a difference in the fight against pollution. In Australia, 84% of plastic used is sent to a landfill and only 13% is recycled - we needed to do better. Through our participation in Clean Up Australia Day, we showed our pledge to protecting our planet and preserving its natural beauty for future generations.

Thank you for joining us at the Clean Up Events Across Australia:

We're excited to announce that Rebuild Relief successfully hosted clean-up events in four locations across Australia: Newcastle, Gympie, Gold Coast, and Maryborough.

These events brought together volunteers from the local community to remove litter and debris from public spaces, making a tangible impact on the environment.

Volunteers wrote down their environmental pledges and got their photos taken! It was our way of saying thank you for making a difference in your community and the environment.

How You Can Get Involved:

If you're passionate about environmental conservation and community service, we invite you to join us for our next Clean Up Australia Day event in 2025. Together, we can make a positive impact and create a cleaner, healthier environment for all.
